GENERAL

Women’s football is very different to men’s. The players engage with the fans a lot more.

For most away games fans often have to travel 100+ miles each way and are typically giving up 8 to 10 hours of their day. Therefore they feel really appreciated when the players come over to talk to them especially after an away game.

In general, as can happen with all players, some fans can build a stronger connection and enjoy meeting up socially. You see this up and down the country with many players, fans, families and friends. We’re all part of the same community.

FOOTBALL WITHOUT FANS IS NOTHING

Sponsors, advertisers and TV companies will not invest if there are no fans. If a football club doesn’t have any fans then it won’t have any money. If it doesn’t have any money then it simply no longer exists as a football club. Without fans is football is nothing.

Songs

Keep Right On -

  As you go through life,
It’s a long long road,
There’ll be joys and sorrows too.

As we journey on,
We will sing this song,
For the girls in royal blue,
We’re often partizan,
We will journey on,
Keep right on to the end of the road,
Keep right on to the end.

Though the way be long,
Let your heart beat strong,
Keep right on to the end,
Though you’re tired and weary,
Still journey on, ’til you come to your happy abode,
Where all the love, you’ve been dreaming of will be there,
Where?
At the end of the road, Birmingham! Birmingham!
