Georgia Brougham Professional Footballer

Georgia Brougham initially joined Blues Women on loan in January 2020 but only played 4 games before the season was curtailed because of COVID 19. In September 2020 Georgia re-joined Birmingham on another season long loan and she has been a key player for Blues playing as a Central Defender.

Her parent club is Everton Women and prior to that she was at Manchester City Women where she joined as a youth player.

Georgia Brougham has rejoined Blues

The defender has signed on loan from Everton. Brougham came in at Blues last season on loan from the Toffees in January. She made four appearances - two apiece in the WSL and FA Cup - before the season was halted due to COVID-19.

Brougham's addition to the ranks will help strengthen Carla Ward's backline options. The Head Coach commented: "Georgia comes with a lot of experience, despite being young. She has played at the highest level now for a number of years.

"I think what is important too is just how well she settled into the group when she came after Christmas. And the girls have got a lot of respect for her. She slots straight into what we are trying to do, the way we want to play."
