Head Coach Phil Neville has named Hampton in his squad for the second time this year, following her first senior call up for the SheBelieves Cup tournament in March.

The training camp, which will take place at St. George’s Park, will act as preparation for the Lionesses game against Germany on Tuesday 27 October.

In February 2013, Hampton received her first call-up to the under-15 squad at the age of 12. She was included in the squad for the 2017 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualifying round playing the hosts Lithuania, Slovenia and Russia. The side progressed to the Elite Round, beating Germany, Poland and drawing to Italy to top their group to qualify for the Euro Finals in Czech Republic, with matches against Republic Of Ireland, Netherlands and Norway. England won one of their three ties but could not progress beyond the group stage.

She progressed through the under-18 age group and was selected for under-19 age group in 2018. In 2018 she was included in the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship squad competing in the Qualifying Round in Croatia, where the team progressed to the Elite Round. In 2019, Hampton helped England Under-19's book their place at the 2019 UEFA European Championships as she recorded two clean sheets in two appearances against Sweden and Italy in the Elite Round at St George's Park National Football Centre. The young goalkeeper was on hand to keep out the Swedish attack in England's 4-0 win and was awarded Player of the Match against Italy and was included in the squad for the championships. During the tournament she played in England's three group games but they failed to progress to the next round.

She proved herself in the Barclays FA WSL with some excellent performances and contributed to Blues’ impressive defence that only conceded 17 goals last season. She was subsequently named the Birmingham City Club's Young Player of the Season at the annual awards night in May. Hampton has enjoyed a successful summer on and off the pitch having just passed her A-Level exams and receiving her first call-up to the England Under-21s. Hannah was named in Rehanne Skinner's side for the U23 Nordic Tournament, which was hosted at Loughborough University.
